Turkish consumer confidence rises to 71.9 in April

ANKARA: Turkey’s consumer confidence index rose to 71.9 points in April, from 71.3 points a month earlier, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed on Friday.

The current level of confidence reflects a pessimistic outlook and would need to rise above 100 to indicate optimism.
