TRA to participate in IT, telecom and technology show Comex 2014

Dubai: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will participate in Comex 2014, which will be held in Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat from April 7 to April 11.

“We aim, through this participation, to strengthen the communication within GCC countries by enhancing knowledge sharing and shedding light on the latest technologies these countries have reached to. We are glad to have participated in this significant exhibition, which is a suitable platform that allows us to highlight the key projects and initiatives launched by UAE government entities, to improve the quality and diversity of e-government services,” said Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, TRA deputy director general for Information and eGovernment Sector.

The TRA’s delegation will showcase the UAE’s experience in achieving the transition to a smart government by adopting a thorough national roadmap including many stations that will reach to a well-defined goal in a period of two years.
