Motiongate Dubai appoints new general manager

Dubai: Motiongate Dubai, part of Meraas’ Dubai Parks and Resorts, announced on Wednesday the appointment of a former Universal Studios theme park executive as its general manager.

John Hallenback, who most recently served as vice-president of attractions overseeing operations at Universal Studios Singapore and MarineLife Park, has been appointed to the role, according to a company statement.

Hallenback will be responsible for overseeing opening of the park on October 31 and “its continued growth, providing strategic direction across all departments,” the statement said.
