Arabian Hotel Investment Conference to highlight importance of F&B

Dubai: Hotel industry players will discuss solutions to the region’s food and beverage (F&B) sector at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC), which will be held between May 4 and 5 in Dubai.

One of the sessions at the event will discuss investment opportunities for hotel owners and the impact of F&B on average daily rates (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR — a benchmark for performance).

F&B accounts for around 37 per cent of hotel revenue across the Middle East, growing at an annual rate of between five and 10 per cent, according to a statement by the event’s organisers, sourcing STR Global data.
