Dubai: If you’re used to breezing through Dubai’s toll gates with Salik, you’ll soon be able to do the same at the fuel pump.
Salik, Dubai’s toll gate operator, has partnered with Enoc Group to roll out drive-through-style payments at Enoc service stations. Instead of reaching for your card or phone, you’ll fill up and go — the payment will be deducted automatically from your Salik e-wallet using the same number plate recognition tech already used at toll gates and select parking spots.
How does it work?
Cameras at Enoc stations will scan your plate, and if your vehicle is linked to a Salik e-wallet, the fuel bill will be settled instantly — no PINs, no apps, no cash. Salik already uses this tech at popular spots like Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina Mall, and is expanding it to over 127 locations across the city.
What’s in it for you?
It means faster fill-ups, less queuing, especially when you're in a rush. This is part of a wider push by both companies to make everyday travel smoother through digital tools that work in the background while you get on with your day.
Salik CEO Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad said the partnership supports Salik’s strategy to “enhance convenience for customers and road users” by rolling out secure, cashless tech that makes transactions effortless. Enoc CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi added that the tie-up marks “a significant step toward improving the customer journey” by blending Salik’s tech with Enoc’s retail network.
What’s next?
Both companies plan to promote the feature through joint campaigns, with phased rollouts and possible future expansions across Enoc’s wider network. Technical integration is underway, and the goal is to scale it city-wide.
So, the next time you're fuelling up at Enoc, you might just find yourself driving off without touching your wallet — and without missing a beat.
