Eric Trump, son of US President Donald Trump, attended a groundbreaking ceremony on May 21, 2025, in Hung Yen province, Vietnam, to launch a $1.5 billion luxury resort and golf complex.

Trump’s venture in Vietnam boasts three 18-hole golf courses and a residential complex.

The project, led by the Trump Organization and Vietnamese partner Kinhbac City, will include:

  • Three championship-style 18-hole golf courses

  • Five-star hotels

  • High-end residential estates

  • Luxury amenities

The development spans 990 hectares (2,446 acres) and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.

Boost from Eric Trump’s visit

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who attended the event, said Eric Trump’s visit “motivated us to expedite this project” and pledged government support to ensure its timely completion.

Eric Trump praised Vietnam and its real estate potential, calling the project “the envy of Asia and the world.”

He is also expected to meet with Ho Chi Minh City officials to discuss a possible skyscraper project in the country’s southern business hub.

The Trump Organization received official approval from Vietnam’s government just one week prior to the ceremony.

In March, the Vietnam Investment Review reported that Trump’s Vietnam golf course venture boasts three 18-hole golf courses and a residential complex.

It was dubbed as the “largest of its kind in East Asia” for The Trump Organization.
