Dubai’s estate agents net Dh571m in first half of 2018

Dubai: Dubai’s property brokers netted Dh571 million in the first six months from their involvement in 2.978 property deals.

There are currently 5,181 active brokers operating from 2,113 offices.

The number of women brokers was 678.

“The accreditation system for brokers that was set in place by Dubai Land Department was initiated to sustain a secure real estate environment for all parties in the market,” said Yousuf Al Hashemi, Deputy Executive Director of Real Estate Regulatory Agency. “We encourage customers to choose brokers who hold “real estate broker” identification cards.”
