P&O Maritime acquires Spanish company Reyser

The DP World subsidiary will inherit 10 ports in Spain

DUBAI

P&O Maritime has acquired Reyser, a Spanish maritime services provider, according to a statement from the British-based company on Thursday.

A subsidiary of Dubai-based port operator DP World, P&O Maritime will acquire Reyser’s long term agreements in 10 ports in Spain and contracts with two international Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals at Saint John, New Brunswick in Canada and Point Fortin in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to the statement, the transaction value is below 5 per cent of DP World’s net asset value.
