Minister to focus on New Zealand-GCC free trade agreement

Abu Dhabi: New Zealand Trade Minister, Tim Groser, departed his country on Thursday for a visit to the UAE and Kuwait to undertake various bilateral calls.

Groser said that the focus of his meetings will be to promote swift ratification of the New Zealand – GCC free trade agreement, and advancing New Zealand’s economic objectives in food security, investment, and education.

The minister will also focus on engaging with key players responsible for the Dubai World Expo 2020 regarding opportunities for New Zealand construction companies.
