Abu Dhabi: Takaful Emarat Insurance reported on Tuesday net profits of Dh1.08 million for the second quarter of this year, marking an increase from Dh5.5 million in losses during the same time last year.
The figure brings the net profit for the first half of the year to Dh3.09 million — up from Dh12 million in losses during H1 2013.
Meanwhile, total assets for the first half of the year reached Dh159 million — a slight gain from the Dh158.9 million recorded at the end of the second half of 2013.
