Dubai Holding appoints new CFO

Dubai Holding, the global investment holding company, has appointed Sharjil Anwar as its chief financial officer, it announced in a statement on Thursday.

Effective from June 3, 2018, Sharjil will lead the group’s overall investment, and the financial planning function of Dubai Holding and its companies to help deliver its long-term growth objectives, the statement reads.

Sharjil is presently the group chief financial officer at developer Nakheel. He has over 20 years of experience, spent predominantly in the Middle East.
