Plan is to roll it out first in the GCC and then rest of the region
Dubai: Land Rover will soon have in place a certified pre-owned programme for its models across its regional network. The intention is to do so in the GCC by early next year and followed by the Levant territory, The Middle East and North Africa is the seventh largest market for Land Rover globally.
“The pre-owned car industry is a growing business with greater demand from consumers for guaranteed quality and customer service standards,” said Robin Colgan, managing director at Jaguar Land Rover MENA. “We have done extensive research to find out what our customers want.”
Features will include a 12-month warranty, roadside assistance and verified service history on all vehicles.
On the new vehicle side, the British marque is stocking up the pipeline. “We have a considerable amount of new products coming over the next year — in fact over the next few years — and bear in mind we’re also still rolling out two new vehicles, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
“So, in terms of marketing, we will be investing in experiential activities which allow us to get more new customers — those who have never experienced Land Rover — into our vehicles, and give them the unique experience through a series of off-and on-road events.
