Emirati companies operating in Egypt exceeds 500
Cairo: Hesham Qandil, Egyptian Prime Minister, yesterday received in Cairo Mohammad Bin Nukheira Al Daheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, and a number of Emirati investors.
The meeting was attended by Osama Saleh, Egyptian Minister of Investment, a number of officials from Egyptian ministries and representatives and directors of Emirati companies operating in Egypt. Al Daheri expressed his thanks to Qandil for attending the meeting, which is held to support Emirati-Egyptian relations. He stressed the UAE’s keenness to support all efforts being exerted for Egypt’s prosperity and stability. Al Daheri added that this meeting is an assurance for Emirati investors, especially because the number of Emirati companies operating in Egypt exceeds 500. He praised Egypt’s support for foreign and Arab investments in the country, especially the care given for Emirati investments in light of promising investment opportunities in Egypt.Qandil praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, which he said is a model for Arab relations. He stressed the importance of supporting economic relations between the two nations. He reaffirmed the Egyptian government’s keenness to remove all obstacles or difficulties that might face Emirati investments in Egypt.
