Claire Dominics Buro, an award-winning luxury design studio known for its distinctive fusion of interiors, architecture, and curated art, was honored as a Strategic Partner at the 8th edition of Art Connects Women, held at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from April 8–11.

This year’s event brought together 112 women artists from 112 countries, making it the largest edition to date. Curated by Zaahirah Muthy, founder of Art Connects Women and ZeeArts Gallery, the exhibition was a celebration of unity, identity, and legacy, offering a platform for powerful visual storytelling and intercultural dialogue.

Claire Dominics Buro contributed to the event not only through strategic sponsorship but also by showcasing a deeply personal sculpture titled “In Search of Yourself Yourself” created by Tatiana Latynina de Ordovsky-Tanaevsky, the founder’s mother-in-law. The piece explores generations. The dream of becoming a ballerina, passed from mother to daughter, was widely praised for its emotional resonance.

A moment of pride for the studio was the presence of the chairperson of Dubai Culture, who was seen engaging with the sculpture and listening to the story behind it, underscoring the exhibition’s cultural significance.

Founder and Art Director Claire Ordovsky Tanaevsky was the patron and a featured speaker on Panel 3: Accelerate Action at the event’s official conference, held in partnership with UNESCO and DIFC.

Titled “From Finance to Sustainable Impact: Advancing Women’s Role in the Creative Economy,” the session brought together pioneering women across sectors, including media, aviation, and entrepreneurship. Claire joined Dr. Eng. Suaad Al Shamsi, Dr. Caroline Faraj, and Dr. Yasmina Fechkeur in a conversation moderated by communication expert Paddy Kennedy.

Their discussion focused on transformation, leadership, and how creative industries can shape lasting social and economic impact, reflecting the values Claire Dominics Buro brings to its work.

With a portfolio that spans multiple continents, the studio brings profound experience in both hospitality and high-end residential design, always grounded in sustainability, artistic integrity, and cultural storytelling.

“Our work is about more than beauty—it’s about meaning,” Claire said. “And this event reminded us that when design meets purpose, we create something truly lasting.”
