Kuwait's Gulf Bank chairman resigns, says report

Kuwait: The chairman of troubled Kuwaiti lender Gulf Bank has quit, state news agency KUNA said on Tuesday, after the central bank stepped in to support the lender hit by currency deal losses.

"The resignation of Chairman Bassam Al Ghanim was officially accepted," KUNA said, quoting a bank statement.
