Abu Dhabi: In the first anniversary of its partnership, Abu Dhabi-based Royal Jet and Saudi-based Arabasco have renewed an agreement that extends their highly successful commercial and operational alliance in Saudi Arabia.
The renewed agreement was signed by Royal Jet's President and CEO Shane O'Hare and Arabasco's President and CEO Ret. Brigadier-General Mohammad Al Shablan at Royal Jet's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Also present were other senior Royal Jet management.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Royal Jet will continue to operate under the Arabasco AOC (Aircraft Operators Certificate) at the company's key hubs in Jeddah and Riyadh, providing crew, a full operations team and all the necessary supporting logistics.
Arabasco's premier Fixed Based Operations (FBO) and maintenance facility company in the kingdom offers a variety of aircraft maintenance, management and ground handling services to private, VIP and business jets in Saudi Arabia.
"The renewing of our agreement will optimise our extensive, combined experience and expertise in luxury private jet travel, to address the kingdom's regional and global executive travel needs," said O'Hare.
"We look forward to another year of partnership to further strengthen and develop this alliance as we continue our commitment to Arabasco and we were geared up for the expected busy summer traffic from the kingdom," O'Hare added.
International cities
From its private terminals within the kingdom, Arabasco and Royal Jet will continue to offer private jet charter, as well as domestic and international travel from Saudi Arabia to cities like London and Moscow, as well as other business and leisure hubs in the region. For his part, Al Shablan emphasised the significance of his company's ties with Royal Jet in terms of meeting the demand for private jet travel in the Saudi market.
He explained: "Saudi Arabia has a regional advantage as the single largest and most mature private jet market. Therefore, maintaining sufficient levels of liquidity and providing uncompromising service standards has become a benchmark and one we constantly strive to exceed.
"Arabasco's alliance with Royal Jet has provided a huge boost to executive business aviation in Saudi Arabia. The new agreement will undoubtedly enable us to continue meeting the fast growing market demand by providing executives and families alike with superior private jet service."
