Organising committee of Dubai Airshow 2017 holds first meeting

DUBAI: The Organising Committee of the Dubai Airshow 2017 held its first meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of Major General Abdullah Al Sayed Al Hashemi, executive director of the military committee for the show.

Major General Al Hashemi stressed that this year’s edition will bring in many modern and advanced technologies both from military and civilian aspects.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.

The Dubai Airshow includes new sector specific pavilions, Space Pavilion, UAV Summit, Cargo Zone and the return of Airport Solutions, and likely to bring focus to new market sectors when it opens in November. (WAM)
