Dubai: Oman Air, the Muscat-based carrier, said on Sunday it would start daily flights to Manchester in the United Kingdom from April 1 next year.
It is the second time this year it has been announced carrier is expanding in the UK. In February reports said Oman Air spent a record $75 million (Dh275 million) buying a second daily slot at London Heathrow.
“Oman Air … intends to start operating daily flights from its hub in Muscat to Manchester. The new service is scheduled from April 1st 2017,” Sunday’s statement said.
