Novus Aviation closes deal with Vietjet

Dubai: Novus Aviation Capital said on Tuesday it has closed the purchase and leaseback of two new Airbus A321-200 aircraft with Vietnan’s Vietjet airline.

The two aircraft were delivered to Vietjet in January 2018 and are on long-term leases. The transaction is part of a larger deal between the two companies that will see multiple aircraft deliveries over the next 12 months.

Dubai-based Novus said transaction will further drive its business growth and market expansion. It did not disclose the value of the deal.
