New general manager for Etihad in Kazakhstan

Dubai: Etihad Airways has appointed a new general manager for Kazakhstan, the Abu Dhabi airline said on Wednesday.

Robert “Dougie” Douglas will lead Etihad’s commercial operations in Kazakhstan from July 1, according to an emailed statement.

He is currently the airline’s general manager for Armenia and previously served as general manager for Indonesia and before that as manager for Northern India and Nepal

Douglas will also be responsible for growing Etihad’s travel trade and corporate customer relations.
