GAC Abu Dhabi to join free zone

Dubai: Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone said on Tuesday logistics firm GAC Abu Dhabi is the latest addition to its cargo terminal free zone site.

As a result of its free zone status, GAC Abu Dhabi will be able to transfer cargo to any other free zones in the UAE without having to pay customs duty. The move to the free zone allows brings benefits that include 100 per cent foreign ownership, and zero corporate tax, and no restrictions on capital repatriation.
