Dubai: Etihad Airways is hopeful of capturing a greater share of the Indian and Chinese travel segment with the launch of daily flights to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania on Tuesday.
The Abu Dhabi airline’s ninth African destination is timed to connect with flight flights to and from Ahmadabad and Mumbai in India, and Beijing and Shanghai in China, according to an emailed statement.
Etihad has already earmarked further expansion in Africa and plans to start services to Rabat in Morocco in January 2016.
