Etihad appoints new Kenya GM

Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways on Wednesday said it has appointed Joan Mwaniki as the airline’s new General Manager for Kenya.

The Nairobi-based position is responsible with increasing Etihad’s brand awareness and developing relations in East Africa.

Mwaniki has held positions with Etihad code-share partner Kenya Airways, where she spent seven years.

Etihad launched daily services from Abu Dhabi to Nairobi last year flying a two-class 136-seat capacity Airbus A320.
