Dubai: Emirates said in a statement on Thursday it is increasing capacity on its Dubai-Nairobi, Kenya service by 1,638 seats a week.
The airline will switch the current Airbus A330-200 aircraft used on its twice daily service to a larger Boeing 777-300 ER (extended range) from May 1. The other Nairobi service is already operated by a 777.
The 777-300 ER will have a 354 passenger capacity across three classes, with eight First Class seats, 42 Business class seats and 304 in Economy.
