Air India Express announced a flash sale on Wednesday, with Xpress Lite fares starting from INR1,300 (Dh56) along with ‘zero convenience fee’ on the airline's website and mobile app.

Xpress Lite is a special zero-check-in baggage fare available only on the airline’s website, the airline said.

The carrier also announced Xpress Value sale fares starting from INR1,524 across major booking channels. The sale is for flight bookings made until May 18, 2025, for travel between June 1 and September 15, 2025.

Xpress Lite fares come with added benefits, including the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg cabin baggage at no extra cost, and discounted check-in baggage rates — 15 kg for INR1,000 on domestic flights and 20 kg for INR1,300 on international flights.

Special deals for loyalty members

Additionally, Air India Express is offering deals for its loyalty members, including 25 percent off Xpress Biz fares and upgrades. Xpress Biz is the business class equivalent of Air India Express, offering a seat pitch of up to 58 inches. Biz seats are available on over 40 brand-new Boeing 737-8 aircraft recently inducted as part of the airline’s rapid expansion, with a new aircraft joining the fleet every week. Loyalty members can also enjoy 25 percent off Gourmair hot meals, standard and prime seat selection, Xpress Ahead priority services, Xtra Carry-On Baggage and Xcess Check-In baggage, only on the airline’s website and app.

The airline will continue to offer fare concessions for students, senior citizens, doctors, nurses, and members of the armed forces along with their dependents.

The airline, a subsidiary of Air India, operates over 500 daily flights, connecting 38 domestic and 17 international airports, with a fleet of 112 aircraft, comprising 72 Boeing 737s and 40 Airbus A320s.
