$200,000 up for grabs in energy challenge

Dubai: GE ecomagination and Aramco Entrepreneurship said on Tuesday that it has launched an open global technology challenge to boost the development of solutions for improving energy efficiency of seawater desalination.

The challenge, valued at $200,000, will be awarded to four winners, with a prize of $50,000 each. Investments toward commercialisation of the best ideas among all submissions will be considered.
