Kristyna Napoleaova shoots par 70 after dramatic birdie-eagle finish

Dubai resident in tied 18th in Tipsport Czech Open on Ladies European Tour

Dubai: Kristyna Napoleaova shot an opening round of two under par 70 in her own home Open, the €200,000 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, which began at Royal Beroun Golf Club on Friday.

The leader Nicole Broch Estrup of Denmark is on seven under par with the tournament set up at 6,225 yards with a par 72.

The Dubai-based Kristyna bogeyed holes 4 and 6, bounced back with birdies on 7 and 9 and was out in level par 36.

Then birdie-bogey on holes 10-11, followed by a dramatic birdie-eagle finish on holes 17 and 18, propelled Kristyna to tied 18th.

Kristyna tees off in the second round on Saturday at 8.40am (local Czech Republic time).
