Golf: What's on around the world this week

Dubai based Adrian Meronk, the 13th highest European player in the current Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and seventh in the Race to Dubai Rankings will be playing the next two weeks on the PGA Tour.

This week Meronk travels to play in The Genesis Invitational hosted by Tiger Woods at The Riviera Golf Club with Tiger Woods in the field.

23 of the top 25 in the OWGR will compete in this ‘elevated’ PGA Tour event boasting a prize fund of $20 million.

The DP World Tour is in Thailand for the $2 million Thailand Classic, whilst Chiara Noja plays in the $5 million Saudi Ladies International, at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, where she beat Charley Hull (Eng) in a play-off at the same venue in November to win the individual event in the 2022 Aramco Team Series - Jeddah.

The Asian Tour has another tournament in the Middle East, the third in a row, with the $2.5 million International Series – Qatar, featuring Dubai based Shiv Kapur (Ind), Jeev Milkha Singh (Ind) and MG Keyser (RSA) representing Jumeirah Golf Estates.
