The Englishman claimed the prestigious event in Abu Dhabi after winning with a commanding 6 shots, -4 total at Yas Links Golf Club, Abu Dhabi.

Dutton plays out of Jumeirah Golf Estates Dubai and has had a stand out amateur career to date. He finished 8th in the UAE Junior Order of Merit for the 2018/19 season, was a member of the European Tour elite squad in 2018 and also a member of the Peter Cowen Academy elite squad for 2020. He graduated from North Idaho College in 2020 and has struggled with the progression of his game since then, making this win just that bit sweeter.

“It's been a long grind since leaving America. Lots of days where I just didn't see anything getting better. Big thanks to everyone who's helped me and supported me over the past year, I wouldn't be here without you guys. This win feels like a huge weight off my back and a big step in the right direction but still lots of work to do.

“Thank you to Yas Links Abu Dhabi for hosting such a great event. The course was in immaculate condition this week. I've always loved this course and now I have another big reason to love it even more.”
