The death of Virgil Abloh on November 28 from a rare form of cancer at the age of 41 has reverberated around the world as people mourned the visionary US fashion designer. A post on his official account said that he had been privately battling cardiac angiosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer, since 2019. He was known for his massive influence on pop culture and streetwear thanks to his brand Off-White, and he also made a name for himself at Louis Vuitton as head of menswear design. Supermodel Hailey Bieber paid rich tribute to Abloh, who designed the wedding dress she wore when she married singer Justin Bieber. “Virgil completely changed the way I looked at street style and fashion, the way he looked at things inspired me deeply.
