Due to the escalating concerns over Coronavirus spread, the ZCA organisers chose to keep this year’s ceremony a closed-door affair with no audience or general public among its guests. Ranveer Singh turned up in in an multi-coloured, eclectic suit to mix things up on the fashion front. He was also one of the big winners of the night. Singh won the Best Actor (Male) in a Leading Role award for his performance as an underdog rapper in director Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, while actress Taapsee Pannu won the Best Actress award for her role as a duplicitous woman in the hit legal thriller ‘Badla’, also starring Amitabh Bachchan.
