IU: After gifting fans with her pre-release track, ‘Love Poem’, on November 1, IU unveiled EP of the same name last Monday, and, as expected of all her releases, it was a hit. Vibrant and upbeat ‘Blueming’ swept all major charts within hours of its release and other tracks off the album landed in the top 10 of all five realtime charts in Korea. GOLDEN CHILD: Following a year-long hiatus, Golden Child rebooted with a more mature and charismatic concept in first full-length album, ‘Re-boot’ rather than their bright image they debuted with in 2017. Fronted by lead number ‘Wannabe’, the 12-track album also contains a solo and subunit tracks, allowing the members to truly shine in their own distinct style. Image Credit:

WJSN: K-Pop group WJSN, also known as Cosmic Girls, enchanted fans with their return. The girls unveiled their seven-track mini-album, ‘As You Wish’ and vibrant track of the same name last Tuesday. Local listeners seemed to be intrigued by the all-female act’s music as it appeared in the top 20 on the UAE iTunes albums chart on the day of its release. Image Credit:

CIX: On the same day as WJSN’s comeback, rookie group CIX dropped second EP titled, ‘HELLO Chapter 2. Hello, Strange Place’, voicing social issues South Korea’s youth are facing. Featuring hip-hop lead single, ‘Numb’, the five-track album landed on the 12th spot on the UAE iTunes all-genre albums chart and debuted at number nine on the pop albums chart just right after WJSN. ASTRO: Astro once again captivated fans’ hearts this time with a sensual, edgier and blue-themed concept unlike their previous releases. Though member Moonbin is sitting out in the group’s promotions to focus on his health, he took part in recording the EP’s five genre-defying tracks – ‘Blue Flame’, ‘Go&Stop’, ‘All About You’, ‘When The Wind Blows’, ‘You’re My World’ - and filmed the title track’s music video.
