Art D’Égypte organises stellar event that will shine the spotlight on the Giza pyramids with its Forever Is Now exhibition

In a one-of-a-kind event, Art D’Égypte launched its 4th annual exhibition titled, Forever Is Now on October 21, 2021 at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the surrounding Giza Plateau. The fourth edition of the event will see participation from a slew of globally renowned artists including Alexander Ponomarev, Gisela Colón, João Trevisan, Lorenzo Quinn, Moataz Nasr, Sherin Guirguis, Shuster + Moseley, Stephen Cox RA and HRH Prince Sultan Bin Fahad.

The event is being held under the aegis of of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism, Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the patronage of UNESCO.

“The Pyramids have a long, illustrious history of extraordinary kind that has fascinated and inspired artists from all over the world,” said Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Founder of Art D’Égypte, “I’m thrilled to share what will be an unforgettable encounter with the union of art, history, and heritage.”

This edition of the event will be different from previous exhibitions, and will be attended by international and local artists. It is essentially, the first exhibition of its kind in 4500 years and will represent the melding of Egypt’s ancient heritage and contemporary art.

The ambitious project, will break further new ground with the simultaneous AI-DA project, the world’s first ultra-realistic AI robot. The robot’s artistic persona will be demonstrated through various paintings, performance art, and sculptures.

The idea is to encourage visitors to re-envision art and self-perception through the prism of a humanoid. With its revolutionary coming together of the ancient past and the future, the exhibition promises to be an event unlike any other in the region.
