From Chanel to Jaeger-Lecoultre there was plenty for watch enthusiasts to get excited about. It features a new self-winding movement that has been manufactured exclusively for the brand. It features revised components to ensure the watch delivers its unique performance. Image Credit: Supplied 3 of 5 Van Cleef and Arpels revealed a stunning new timepiece inspired by the floral clock concept imagined by Carl Von Linné in 1751. Dubbed the Lady Arpels Heures Florales, the watch is a fantastical rendition of the passage of time with 12 corollas on the dial. It’s a visual spectacle as the flowers blossom and close and the scenery changes every hour. It is one of the most stunning watches so far this year. The watch is finished in platinum and titanium, or in steel, and features a round case with asymmetrical lugs which reveal a singular reinterpretation of classic Haute Horlogerie complications from across the hours of the world. The “Travelling time” mechanism has been developed exclusively for Hermès. However, the renewed aesthetics of the mechanism showcase mastery of the decorative crafts.
