‘Pakistani in Dubai' hosts business summit to celebrate landmark achievements

The largest social media group of Pakistani expats in UAE lauded for community services

Ajman: The ‘Pakistanis in Dubai’ (PID) community group lauded for its community service and awarnesness campaigns n the UAE.

A leading social media group in the UAE, the PID organised a business summit in Ajman to celebrate its significant milestone of achieving 200,000 members mark.

The event was attended by a large number of Pakistani community members with the goal of fostering business collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Pakistanis in Dubai (PID) is the largest Pakistani social media community in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Recognised by Meta for its impactful initiatives, the PID is dedicated to supporting the Pakistani diaspora through networking, empowerment programs, and events designed to promote collaboration, innovation, and business growth.

Prominent hub

Speaking on the occasion, Hussain Mohammed, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai commended the evolution of PID from a social media platform into a prominent hub for the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE. He acknowledged the platform’s administrators for their dedication and proposed the creation of a data bank for the Pakistani community in the UAE to further enhance engagement, collaboration, and mutual support.


Consul General Muhammad recognised the immense contributions of Pakistanis to the UAE’s economy, culture, and social development. He also highlighted recent initiatives such as the establishment of the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah, aimed at promoting economic growth and fostering closer ties between the two nations.

He also expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership for their continued support in cultivating a business-friendly environment for the Pakistani community.
“It is our collective responsibility to contribute to the UAE’s development while simultaneously strengthening the historical ties between our two nations,” he stated. He concluded by congratulating PID and its 200,000 members on their exceptional achievement and encouraged the community to continue promoting Pakistan’s strengths on the global stage.

Muhammad also emphasised the importance of such events, stating: “Summits like these highlight the talent and innovation of the Pakistani community in the UAE. I am proud of the significant role they play in building economic and cultural ties between our two nations.”

MoU

Event highlights
A key moment of the summit was the signing of an MOU between PID and the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah (PBCS). The agreement, signed by Nasir Bangash, Founder and Chairman of PID, and Syed Saleem, First Chairman of PBCS, aims to further enhance support for the Pakistani business community in the UAE.

Nasir Bangash noted: “The summit is a clear reflection of the strength and unity of the Pakistani community. Together, we are creating limitless opportunities for success and collaboration.”


Keynote speakers

The summit featured insightful keynote addresses and panel discussions on topics such as sustainability, economic growth, and community development. The keynote speakers included: Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager of Bahir Ajman Hotel; Arshad Mahmood from Abu Ali Contracting Group; Asma Usman from Etihad Town; Shahid Nadeem from Zone Delivery Group and Roman from Ingenious Digital Marketing.

Business networking

Dozens of companies businesses participated in the summit, showcasing their products and services. The event provided ample networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and industry leaders to build valuable partnerships.
Awards for Community Excellence: The summit concluded with an awards ceremony recognising outstanding contributions from members of the Pakistani community across various sectors.
