Established in 1984, the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme offers investors and individuals the opportunity to obtain alternative citizenship. Open to applicants worldwide, the Caribbean nation offers a unique blend of natural beauty and economic opportunity.

The newly appointed Chairperson of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit’s Board of Governors, Calvin St. Juste, just completed a visit to Dubai as part of the Unit’s Middle-East and Asia tour.

Whilst in Dubai, we managed to meet and discuss the Programme, on our latest “Tell Me Why” podcast.

St. Juste explained that although the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit has led the industry for more than 40 years, the Unit has continuously evolved to meet the needs of investors and attract quality high-net-worth applicants.

There has been a growing interest from Middle Eastern investors in the CBI Programme. This is due to the region’s increasing awareness of the benefits of acquiring second citizenship, particularly in terms of security, investment opportunities and enhanced global mobility.

“On my world tour, it was very important that my first stop was Dubai, very important, Dubai has been the bedrock of this Programme.”

St. Juste added, “We see there is a significant interest in the Programme, and continued interest in the Programme, because the Programme is what we consider as the premier standard. And with a premier standard we have to ensure that we protect it, we have to ensure that we go to, I would say somewhat, the home of individuals who have always valued and seen the benefit of it.”

Certain prerequisites must be met before applying for citizenship through the Programme. In return, participants enjoy favourable business and tax conditions with enhanced global mobility.

In addition to financial benefits, the Programme offers a high level of safety and protection, with the island located in a politically and economically stable region.

For more information about the application process, listen to our latest Tell Me Why podcast episode featuring His Excellency Calvin St. Juste.
