US healthcare firm BD’s fourth Infection Prevention Summit opens in Cairo

Industry event focusses on infection prevention and features speakers from UAE



The two-day BD organised event focusses on improving patient outcomes while creating a more sustainable health ecosystem.

Dubai: The Scientific Office of BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company) is hosting the fourth Infection Prevention Summit (IP23) in Cairo on May 26 and 27. This is part of BD’s Patient Safety movement and supporting the MENAT region’s healthcare professionals in their aspirations to achieve sustainable practices.

Speakers include Sian Fumarola, Head of Clinical Procurement Integrated Supplies and Procurement Department University Hospitals of North Midlands and Royal Wolverhampton Trust, and Dr. Ashraf El Houfi, Head of ICU and Chairman of Infection Control Committee at Dubai Hospital Professor of Medicine at Dubai Medical College.
