The Beat, a regional live music event curated by Saudi blogger Big Hass, returns for its second Dubai edition at The Fridge on November 9.

Earlier this year, the first edition took place at vinyl shop The Flip Side. The underground event first kicked off in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2013.

The upcoming Dubai show features Syrian singer-songwriter Ghaliaa, Iraqi pop-R’n’B singer Shebani, Emirati-Honduran performer Fafa, Saudi rapper Molham, Sudanese artist 249TooDope and more. A segment of the night will be dedicated to rappers showcasing their skills on a beat. Returning Saudi artist Roya will open the night.

The Beat is a multi-genre event that shines a light on regional talent. The Fridge, an intimate warehouse venue located in Alserkal Avenue, recently wrapped up a weekly season of events as part of their latest Fridge Concert Series, featuring performances by Abri, AJ & the Gang, and returning performer Shebani, who opened the series earlier this month.

Doors open at 7pm. Show begins at 8pm. Tickets are Dh20 per person.
