Boys Republic announced that they will cease future activities indefinitely.

After a long discussion between the five members and the company, their agency shared the decision about the hiatus with the group’s fans, Royal Family, who have been waiting for their comeback for a while.

The group will be holding their farewell performance titled Boys Republic the Last Live ‘The End...and’ as a five-member act for fans in Seoul at 7pm on September 30. Tickets to their concert are free.

Boys Republic debuted in June 2013 with five members: Onejunn, Minsu, Suwoong, Sunwoo and Sungjun. They were the first K-Pop group to sign under American music label Universal Music. Despite releasing Korean and Japanese discographies, the band are also known for their philanthropic work. Boys Republic celebrated their fifth anniversary in June and competed in KBS’s idol rebooting TV show The Unit.
