What’s the Red Sea International Film Festival all about?: Saudi Arabia’s RSIFF, in its third edition this year, is a glorious celebration of cinema from around the world and is a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their compelling stories and narratives. Opening tonight in Jeddah and concluding on December 9, the ten-day RSIFF is a relatively fledgling film festival but never fails to attract a galaxy of global superstars to its fold. What’s the opening film at this year’s RSIFF? HWJN, based on a Saudi fantasy novel by Ibraheem Abbas, will enjoy a red-carpet gala premiere tonight.
