Look: Top watches on display at Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2024

Dubai: From Day 3 of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2024, here’s a look at some of the exclusive watches that are on display:

Louis Moinet Qatar 001

The Louis Moinet Qatar 001 is a unique piece made using the first meteorite that fell in Qatar in 2010. The meteorite - Qatar 001 - had its origin in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and travelled over 260 million kilometres to land near the Jariyan Al Batnah area in Qatar. The dial is also decorated with the colours of the Qatari flag, and this is the only piece made by the watch brand, valued at QAR452,000 (Dh455,073).

Bovet Recital 26 Chapter Two Golden Dragon

This Bovet timepiece has an 18k gold sculpture of a dragon inside for the Year of the Dragon. It takes an engraver 80 hours to hand engrave the sculpture, and the watch comes with a price tag of QAR1.763 million (Dh1.78 million).

Big Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun collection

The IWC Big Pilot collection Lake Tahoe edition - The watch has a one-crown setting that synchronizes all the display elements, including a double moon face display (for the north and south hemisphere) and a power reserve display for seven days. The watch is an Albert Pallaton self-winding automatic watch with a perpetual calendar until the year 2499. The timepiece retails at QAR 154,200 (Dh155,555).

Tudor’s Black Bay collection

Timepieces from Tudor’s Black Bay collection, which highlight the brand’s strong diving history, with hands designed to illuminate and indicate the time down to the second to deep sea divers. The range starts from QAR 17,000 (Dh17,100).

Rolex Sky-dweller

Rolex Sky-dweller - The latest release from the Sky-dweller collection, which was launched in 2012, the Oysterflex bracelet has a blade of steel mixed in the middle and a patented gel cushion to make it more durable. The dial has a Saros calendar, which uses the 12 indices on the watch face to also reflect the month of the year. The range starts from QAR170,000 (Dh171,064).

Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles

The Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles is a tribute to Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel. Inspired by the pincushion the fashion house’s matron used, the sizable 55m dials have five faces reflecting iconic aspects of the brand - tweed jackets, legendary bags, iconic chain-link jewellery.

Take a look at the Bespoke Churchill safe, which is a custom safe crafted by WOLF Artisans, the company that originally provided the watch boxes for Rolex. The safe was designed in celebration of the 190th anniversary of the brand. Enter the passcode and open. Inside, you can place all your watches and have them winding in the 16 available slots. The box also has eight jewellery drawers. The box comes with an app, allowing owners to monitor how far along the watches have been wound. The box has nine bolts to the ground making it secure and safe.
