Dubai: Dubai-based Gold Medal, the largest travel consolidator in the Middle East, has expanded its operations into Oman through its partnership with OUA Travel.

Oman-based trade agents will now be able to promote and sell Gold Medal’s services as travel opens up in the Sultanate.

“We are delighted to launch Gold Medal to the travel industry in Oman - today’s announcement underlines our efforts to grow and enrich our presence across the region, amidst an evolving environment,” said Rashid Al Awadi, Vice President - dnata Travel, Regional.

Gold Medal, a part of the dnata Travel Group, has been offering scheduled flights, hotels, holidays, car hire, tours and excursions to independent travel agents in various destinations internationally, including to hundreds of agents across the UAE.

“We recently evolved Gold Medal’s product offering to empower travel agents to book car hire and attractions, at a time where domestic travel is on the rise,” Al Awadi added.
