DP World’s Drydocks goes all for digital transformation

IFS Cloud has been contracted by Drydocks World to reach its transformation goals

Dubai: Drydocks World - the Dubai Government owned provider of marine and offshore services to the shipping, oil, gas and energy sectors - has launched a digital transformation project to deliver operational efficiencies and improved customer service. The project will leverage IFS Cloud to meet its enterprise resource planning and asset management needs.

The IFS solution will automate the current production and operational capabilities at Drydocks World, consolidating the current core systems into one single product on a common platform. The asset management and manufacturing modules of the IFS solution will increase transparency and automation at Drydocks World shipyards for new builds and repairs.

“With this new system, our people will be better equipped to do their jobs by working with real-time data, integrative platforms and improved knowledge-sharing that will enable them to focus on the areas of their expertise,” said Rado Antolovic, CEO of Drydocks World.
