Dubai: The Apparel Group has gifted Skechers shoes valued at Dh200,000 for health care workers at the Mafraq & Al Rahba Hospital, Abu Dhabi, for their efforts as being on the frontline of the Covid-19 situation.

“As a pioneer in casual footwear, our goal as a brand has always been to keep people comfortable in their own shoes and now, in the face of adversity, there are certain individuals who need that comfort now more than ever,” a statement said. “They are undoubtedly the health care workers, who relentlessly serve humanity through the toughest of times. Health care workers have our deepest respect, and we are humbled to be able to show them some love during this unprecedented time.”

Skechers gifted shoes with lightweight “Ultra Go” cushioning and high-rebound “Comfort Pillar Technology”.
