Abu Dhabi: Saudi Border Guards in the southern border region thwarted an attempt to smuggle 948kg of hashish and arrested a Saudi man with criminal record in Riyadh, police said.
The Border Guards’ spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Mesfer bin Ghannam Al Quraini, said efforts in tracking drug smuggling networks resulted in foiling the smuggling attempt.
