UAE strongly condemns attempted assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister
MoFAIC affirmed that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts
Abu Dhabi: The UAE has strongly condemned the attempted assassination of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, expressing its solidarity and support to Pakistan and its people in the face of violence and terrorism.
In a statement issued today (Friday), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed the UAE’s strong condemnation of these criminal acts that only destabilize security and stability and are inconsistent with humanitarian values and principles.
Earlier yesterday, Pakistan's ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan has survived a shooting at a political rally that his party called an assassination attempt, which killed one person and injured several others and prompted protests among Khan's supporters.
