Cairo: At least seven people were killed after an apartment building collapsed in Alexandria on Egypt's northern coast on Wednesday, state media reported.
Rescue teams are scouring the debris of the four-storey building for any survivors.
At least 10 others were injured in the incident, media agency Mena said.
Seven bodies including a mother found clutching her baby have so far been pulled from the rubble.
