Ankara: Afghan kidnappers have released three Turkish citizens seized in October, the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
The three were freed on Monday and will return home to Turkey on Friday.
It was not immediately clear whether the released Turks included two engineers kidnapped in Afghanistan late last month.
The Ministry thanked Afghan authorities for their help in the release of the citizens.
"We thank the Afghan authorities for their help and active cooperation in the process of rescuing our citizens," the ministry said in a statement.
