COVID-19: Qatar announces 1,034 new coronavirus cases, 1 death

Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health announced that 1,034 more people have tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 88,304.

The ministry confirmed one more fatality, taking the death toll to 99. Also, 1,637 infected people have made full recovery, pushing the total number of recovered cases to 69,956

The newly diagnosed cases were detected from among 3,778 people who have been tested for the virus in a single day, raising to 324,570 the total number of examined people.

There are 18,348 active cases under treatment, including 2019 critically ill patients who are admitted to intensive care units across the country.
