Dubai: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health has announced the detection of 350 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of confirmed infections to 47,185.
Health officials said that 147 expatriate workers were detected with the virus in the past 24 hours, while 203 others were infected from local contacts of active cases.

The ministry said an additional 401 people recovered from COVID-19, pushing the total number of recoveries to 43,529.
Of the 3,483 active cases, 93 are receiving treatment and 42 in critical condition.
The latest cases were detected after the ministry conducted 9,205 COVID-19 tests among citizens and residents, which takes the total number of COVID-19 tests done in the kingdom to 981,208.
